Governance

Governed by the Market.
Built for the Market.

PRSC™ is a neutral standards body — independent of any single organization, brand, agency, or platform. Its authority comes from the market it serves and the rigor of the Standard it maintains.

Why We Built This

A market that moves $100B+ deserves an institution.

Every mature market has a standards body — for accounting, for credit, for security, for measurement. Partnership and sponsorship, uniquely, do not.

PRSC exists to fill that gap: to build the durable, non-commercial infrastructure the industry has always lacked, so capital can be deployed with the confidence that mature markets require.

Every mature market. One institution each.

The Architecture

Three layers. One institution.

A layered structure that separates governance, methodology, and market perspective — each independent, each accountable.

01

Governing Body

The Council itself. Sets the constitution, approves methodology versions, and safeguards independence.

  • Constitution
  • Methodology approval
  • Independence
02

Methodology Committee

Practitioners and researchers who develop, peer-review, and version the Standard. Publishes changes, rationale, and calibration data.

  • Peer review
  • Version control
  • Calibration
03

Advisory Network

Rotating advisors from organizations, brands, media, academia, and government. Ensures the Standard evolves with the market it serves.

  • Cross-sector

Authority is earned through governance.

PRSC does not exist to represent any one organization.

It exists to protect the integrity of the Standard.

Every governance layer exists for a single purpose: to ensure that a PRSC Readiness Score means the same thing tomorrow as it does today.

Independence Commitments

The hard promises that keep the Standard credible.

Independence is not a claim. It is a set of structural commitments — written into the constitution, audited annually, and enforced by the Council.

  • No commercial revenue from scored organizations.

  • Published conflict-of-interest registers for every Council and Committee member.

  • Open-licensed methodology, versioned in public.

  • Term-limited Council seats with published rotation cadence.

  • Annual independent audit of governance and methodology adherence.
